Centre call box no. 01766 890 369 OS map: Outdooor Leisure Map 17 Snowdonia - Eryri grid ref: 626 511 For new members though, this is a first class centre owned by Hertfordshire County Council and maintained to a very high standard, like great beds, washing facilities, plenty of common areas and very good drying facilities. Beware, the light switch and the fire-alarm are right next to each other in the drying room and can cause a hell of a racket! You have been warned. This centre also boasts an excellent commercial standard gas cooker which allow members to express their cooking skills to the full. Nearly forgot, the centre is at the start of the Watkins Path up Snowdon. |
